Rated and acoustic figures are measured under standard conditions. Actual energy use depends on temperatures, settings, insulation and installation. Confirm the refrigerant charge on the delivered outdoor unit nameplate because revisions differ. Operating temperature limits do not guarantee rated output at every temperature.

Functions, equipment and optional accessories

Simple control and maintenance

The remote provides mode, temperature and fan-speed selection. Airflow direction can be adjusted for comfortable air distribution. Regular cleaning of washable filters and professional maintenance help maintain airflow.

Econo Cool, timer and auto restart

Econo Cool adjusts airflow and temperature for comfort with optimised energy use. The timer schedules switching on and off; auto restart resumes operation when power returns. Swing distributes airflow and self-diagnosis helps identify operating faults.

Wi-Fi and additional filtration

Built-in Wi-Fi is not part of the standard configuration. MELCloud requires a compatible interface and internet connection. The standard air-cleaning filter is included. V Blocking and other additional filters are optional; compatibility and inclusion must be confirmed before ordering. Fan mode recirculates room air and does not provide a fresh-air supply.

Sizing and installation

This model may be considered for a room of approximately 45–50 m². Area is only a guide: ceiling height, insulation, glazing, solar exposure and occupancy must be assessed. Attics, large glazed areas and primary heating require individual sizing.

Refrigerant piping, brackets, condensate drainage and electrical supply depend on the installation location. Installation-kit contents and labour cost are confirmed separately and are not automatically included.

Energy efficiency and everyday comfort

What do SEER 6.5 and SCOP 4.3 mean?

SEER describes seasonal cooling efficiency; SCOP describes seasonal heating efficiency for the stated climate. These are dimensionless ratios, not output in kW. Actual Mitsubishi Electric air-conditioner energy use depends on the temperature setting, weather, insulation and operating hours. A++/A+ ratings do not guarantee the same bill savings in every home.

When does the 28 dB(A) figure apply?

This is indoor sound pressure at the lowest fan speed in cooling mode. At high airflow, sound pressure reaches 45 dB(A). For a bedroom or study, position the unit so that airflow is not directed straight at the bed or desk.

Yes, after installing a compatible optional Wi-Fi interface, purchased separately.

Can it heat in winter?

The declared outdoor operating range for heating extends to −10 °C. Suitability for primary heating requires a heat-loss assessment and capacity check at the design outdoor temperature.

What warranty and delivery are available?
